Prize details

National Bank of Canada is giving away 20 grand prizes.

Each prize consists of CAD$1,000.

The amount will be deposited in the winner’s bank account with the National Bank of Canada.

If you do not have an account, you will receive the prize in the form of a cheque in your name.

The National Bank of Canada runs from December 1, 2021, to March 1, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ES

The draw will be held on September 19, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., at

National Bank of Canada  in Montreal, Quebec.

The National Bank of Canada contest is open to Canadian residents.

You have reached the age of majority in your place of residence at the time you entered the contest. 

Two ways to participate in the National Bank of Canada sweepstakes

To receive one entry follow these steps:

make a single contribution to an RRSP, a TFSA or an RESP offered by the National Bank of Canada or National Bank Direct Brokerage

You can obtain two contest entries by setting up a recurring contribution ( minimum of CAD$25 in an eligible investment account)

No purchase entry, Via Postal Mail

Compose a handwritten letter of at least 50 words explaining why you would like to  win CAD$1,000. Send your email no later than March 1, 2022. Your email must be sent to the following address: [email protected]  
In the subject line of the email, write: Contest “Contribute and you could win $1,000”.
