There are two $5000.00 eGift Cards and 50 $1000.00 eGift Cards available to be won in the Challenge.

The Home Hardware Contest runs 25/April/2024 until 12:59PM (EDT) 22/May/2024 

The Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing and will be notified via email.

The winner MUST respond within 5 days.

The Home Hardware Contest is open to Canadian residents.

You must have reached the age of majority in your province of residence to participate.

How to enter the Home Hardware Contest

to participate in the Home Hardware Anniversary Contest

With a purchase:

  1. To enter, eligible individuals must make a purchase at Home Hardware or online at www.homehardware.ca,
  2. save the proof of purchase,
  3. then go to hhcontest.ca/60thanniversary
  4. and fill out the submission form using the transaction number and store number from the proof of purchase.

Each purchase qualifies for one entry, and the number of entries is not limited during the contest period. However, only the first person to submit a form with a unique transaction number will receive an entry.

“Eligible Purchase” includes any goods except beverage alcohol, firearms, ammunition, tobacco products, nicotine products, lottery tickets, prescription drugs, and financial services products.

No Purchase Entry Method:

enter for free by sending a mail-in entry containing their name, address, phone number, email address, and a 50-100 word essay on why they love Home Hardware to the provided address. Entries must be postmarked between April 25, 2024, and May 22, 2024, and received by May 29, 2024.

Home Hardware’s name became official November 9, 1967. Before that, Home Hardware was made of 122 Independent Ontario hardware retailers that bought Hollinger Hardware, a wholesaler. This dealer-owned, direct-from-manufacturer setup provided security for those in the retail business. Home Hardware is essentially an organization of independent businesses that supply local customers and communities.
