The 2022 Safeway Customer Experience Survey Contest is open to Canadian residents of the provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Saskatchewan.
You must have reached the age of majority in your province of residence to participate.
To participate in the Safeway Customer Experience Survey -contest
- Make a purchase at your local Safeway grocery stores or gas stations
- Check your receipt for a Safeway Survey feedback invitation
- Go to www.Safeway.ca/mysafeway
- Follow the on-screen instructions to fill out all the required information and complete the entry process.
- Include your date of purchase, select your Safeway store from the dropdown menu below
- next, enter the unique survey code
- After you answer the on-screen questions, finish with your personal details to receive an entry into the monthly Safeway feedback draw

Safeway Canada has introduced several initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction. A key priority is local sourcing and sustainability, with the company partnering with numerous growers and processors across Western Canada. By offering high-quality, locally produced items, Safeway not only supports regional economies but also minimizes environmental impact by reducing transportation and packaging needs. To further improve the shopping experience, Safeway has expanded self-checkout services at select locations. I really like to sopping Safeway . Safeway have an always great food and fresh. Safeway always pick fresh vegetables. Everyday is open Safeway have a great service to customers the are really helpful and friendly. I really like their cakes. One more thing the are store are really great place.

I enjoy shopping at Safeway but on May 27 I bought a package of regular ground beef. I was concentrating on the price and the weight so I didn’t notice the rest of the label until I got it home and was preparing the two family packs for the freezer’ that’s when I noticed, in very small print, a warning that this package may contain fish, milk, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, crustaceans, molluscs, mustard, Soya, sulfites and sesame seeds.
If I had not noticed that tiny little label, either my husband or I could have ended up in the hospital with a bad ( perhaps fatal) allergic reaction! My first question is why would ground beef contain any of these things and secondly, why aren’t there large, bright warning labels on these packages? I have taken photos of this label and I will return the “meat” for a refund. I wonder how you would react if someone has a fatal reaction to this garbage!

I do like shopping at Safeway, I have specific items I like from different grocery stores. But usually Safeway is pretty good on most items.
Clean and friendly staff. I like Stony Plain and Spruce Grove locations.

I prefer to shop at safeway than any other store.i trust the meat and vegetable departments.have tried other variety of stores but they are not even close to freshness or service that safeway provides.the meat has a better taste and the vegetables are fresher. I found that shopping somewhere else is a waste of time and money because it,s not like safeway. keep up the excellent representation of quality.

Bought 18 stem Rose bouquet. All over the shelves posted price $26.99. Scanned price was $29.99. Asked sales Associate Tracey G Osh reason for charging extra 3 dollars, she immediately went to the shelf and removed all price tags then told me it was on 23 rd. How come last 4 days you were kept selling on old price tag. I was very disappointed with her answer, didn’t wish to spoil my day by bugging with her. I should expect a little apology from her, but she didn’t even say single word of apology beside the price expired on April 23 rd.
I prefer to shop at Safeway. Because the meat and vegetables has a better are fresher.

Very clean store, friendly staff, great shopping experience.
Safeway doesn’t exist anymore. It is now just a false front for Sobey’s. The old Safeway brands are rapidly disappearing and being replaced with Sobey’s brands, many of which are not of the same quality. And, I see that Sobey’s is testing fully automated shopping carts which will render most employees redundant within a few years. Even now, despite having 10 checkouts, only 2 are ever open unless there is a rush and customers are always encouraged to use the self-checkouts. No warm and fuzzies from me. Just another big corporation doing what megacorps do best – putting profits before people. Customer Surveys? Just another way of sucking free information out of people.
Safeway west Lethbridge is a great example of customer service and customer safety during the pandemic.
We want to send a big kudos to Wilton at the Safeway on Kenaston. He is so pleasant, very helpful, and definitely enjoys his job. During this pandemic he was greeting at the door and cleaning carts. We enjoyed coming because of him. He now is at a cash register and we will wait purposely to get into his line. He is an amazing employee. Thank you. Alfred and Gloria

Can Safeway be this absolutly sloppy.
To have a clean bright store to shop in, knowing some of the workers for up to 30 years, give a person
a sense of longevity, and a feeling of trust in a Store that serves its customers for that many years with a sense of pride in their jobs.

To expansive! I don’t like self check out they are trying to implant. Only going after profit is very short sighted but cooperations without a soul and real responsibility will not get it ;( and fail on the long run ! God bless you all 😉 you have to control all sales if they are really on the bill.

Wrong items stacked on the shelves.
Product on display but no price, Just a sign saying currently out of stock.

The crowfoot safeway I go to see very very clean and produce is so freash and meat as well. The staff are very polite and friendly.
