Prize Details

Seventy (70) prizes (referred to collectively as the “Prizes” and each as a “Prize”) will be up for grabs. Each Prize includes (i) one (1) limited edition 70th Anniversary Vintage Old Dutch Tin filled with one (1) bag of Old Dutch chips (flavor chosen at the sole discretion of the Sponsor); and (ii) a $250 gift card for use at a grocery or convenience store retailer.

About Old Dutch Giveaways and Prizes

Old Dutch Foods had been producing potato chips and snack foods like cheese puffs, Puffcorn, pretzels, dips, and even beef jerky since 1934.

A contest titled #GuessTheFlavour was held to WIN an Old Dutch prize pack! Participants were directed to visit Facebook or Instagram and find the #GuessTheFlavour post. They were instructed to post a comment on the Old Dutch Canada’s Instagram contest post (@Old_Dutch_Canada) or Facebook contest post at Facebook.com/olddutch. Additionally, there was a giveaway where entrants could win $5,000 in Calgary Co-op Gift Cards by visiting Olddutchcontests.ca.

Old Dutch Canada had been giving away two prizes, each consisting of $5,000.00 (CDN) in Calgary Co-op Gift Cards. They also organized the Old Dutch Foods Canada Blue Jays Spring Training Getaway Contest. Participants were encouraged to collect UPC codes from select bags of Old Dutch products and enter at bluejays.com/olddutchcontest for a chance to win a trip to watch the Blue Jays spring training. The prizes included two trips for four people, each including airfare to Tampa, Florida, USA, two hotel rooms for three nights in Tampa, admission tickets for each person to attend two Team spring training home games, four Team-branded merchandise packages, and meet and greet with a Team alumnus in Florida.

Furthermore, Old Dutch held various contests such as the Old Dutch Flavour Of Music Contest where participants could win Live Nation Concert Tickets, the Old Dutch Movie Contest titled “Snacktion” which offered daily free Cineplex tickets and weekly prizes of “free movies for a year,” and the Old Dutch Win Chips for Life Giveaway available at Olddutchcontests.ca. The Chips For Life grand prize consisted of Old Dutch Chips for Life, paid in prepaid Gift Cards, valued at $5,000. Additionally, there was an Adventure Travel prize including $5,000.00 (CDN) awarded as Prepaid Travel Gift Cards.

Lastly, Old Dutch organized the Laugh Live Contest where winners could receive a trip to the JFL Montreal Comedy Festival. Prizes included a trip for the winner and one guest to the festival in Montreal, QC, with round-trip coach airfare, three nights’ accommodations, two JFL Montreal Comedy festival passports, and $500.00 in spending money (CDN).
