The holiday season always brings a little extra excitement to convenience store runs, and Needs Convenience is dialing it up this year with a Scene+ giveaway. If you’ve ever dreamed of watching your Scene+ balance skyrocket, this contest might be your favourite surprise of the season.

Prize Details
The grand prize is impressive, offering one winner a massive boost to their rewards account. The winner will receive 1,000,000 Scene+ points, which carries a value of $10,000 CAD.
In addition to that, the contest includes generous weekly prizing throughout the entire run. Each week, one secondary prize winner will receive 100,000 Scene+ points valued at $1,000 CAD. In total, eight of these weekly prizes will be awarded.
• Grand Prize: One winner will earn 1,000,000 Scene+ points worth $10,000 CAD.
• Secondary Prizes: Eight weekly winners will each get 100,000 Scene+ points worth $1,000 CAD.
needs.ca/contests Dates
The Needs Scene Holiday contest runs from November 13, 2025, until January 7, 2026. Weekly draws are scheduled throughout the entire contest period, and each weekly winner is selected on the specific dates listed in the official rules. The grand prize draw will take place on January 12, 2026.
Winners will be contacted within fourteen business days of any draw using the contact information submitted during entry.
Entry Rules
The Needs Contest is open to residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.
You must have reached the age of majority in your province of residency to participate.
How do I enter the Needs Holiday Scene Points Contest?
There are two ways to enter the contest,
How to Enter
With Purchase:
- To enter the Scene+ Holiday Contest with a purchase, visit a participating store in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, or Prince Edward Island.
- Simply make any qualifying purchase (excluding fuel) and swipe your Scene+ card at checkout.
- Each purchase earns you one entry into the contest.
- Without Purchase:
- Write a short essay (150 words max) about your favorite Needs Convenience store. Include your full name, Scene+ account number, and email. Send it to [email protected].

You may earn one no-purchase entry per Scene+ account per day. Purchase entries are limited only by in-store product limits. Once a participant wins either a grand or secondary prize, they may not win again.
