The McDonalds rewards program is easy to join.

1. Simply download the McDonald’s app at www.mcdonalds.com/ca/getmoremcds/mcdonaldsapp.
2. register for an account
3. and activate your account

Then, every time you use the app to order food you will collect points for items purchased

How to earn McDonalds Points (Expiry dates)

Every time you buy or order food from McDonald’s you will earn 100 points for every $1 spent.

You will earn points on every menu item you buy.

Even if you redeem a reward you will still earn 100 points for every dollar you spend.

Exclusions:

You will NOT earn points McDonald’s Card purchases, on taxes, surcharges or fees.

Please note that points have an expiry date.

Any unredeemed points will automatically expire after six months after they are earned.

What Are the Rewards and how to redeem

McDonald’s Rewards have a tiered rewards system. You can redeem your points for free food items like a Big Mac®, McMuffin, or McFlurry and a complete meal.

To redeem your points for a reward :

• 1) via mobile: choose > “Add to Mobile Order and order as usual
• 2) at Drive-Thru > choose “Use at Restaurant”, then enter your code before ordering
• 3) at Restaurant Kiosk > choose “Use at Restaurant” and then scan your code before ordering
• 4) at front counter > choose “Use at Restaurant”, and provide your code to the Crew before ordering.
• 5) delivery order: currently NOT available

Keep earning more points to get more rewards. The point system is as follows:

2,000 Points: pick one of the following 

• Premium Roast Coffee/Tea/Iced Coffee (any size)
• Hash Brown
• Vanilla Cone
• 2 Li’L Donuts

4,000 Points choose from:

• Fries (any size)
• Sausage McMuffin®
• Cheeseburger
• Latte (any size)

6,000 Points: get any of these:

• McDouble®
• McMuffin® breakfast sandwich (choose from Egg McMuffin®, Bacon ‘N Egg McMuffin® or Sausage ‘N Egg McMuffin®)
