A little bit about the KFC Restaurant chain and it’s origins

Kentucky Fried Chicken was founded in 1930 in Kentucky by the American Harland Sanders.
His first Restaurant became a hit when he began selling his pressure fried chicken pieces seasoned with his own secret blend of
herbs and spices. The KFC franchise grew from there. Harland Sanders called himself the Colonel and quickly became a well-known face in the Fast Food Market.

Today KFC locations can be found in 118 countries, including the US, Canada, UK, Australia and Asia. KC is part of the YUM Restaurant chain which also owns Pizza Hut and Taco Bell. This is the reason you will often find a combination of this Restaraunt located in the same Canadian strip Malls and Rest stops along the highway.

Here is what you will find on the Menu at Kentucky Fried Chicken
The Colonel Sanders original chicken served in pieces or as a family bucket is still the main staple of the KFC menu.
More recent additions to the menu include items chicken wraps, hot wings and the Zinger (spicy burger) and popcorn chicken
KFC also serves chicken burgers, fries, mashed potatoes, salads, breakfast items and desserts.
