HGTV Canada and RBC Avion are back with a new 2020 edition of the Avioning Vacation giveaways.

for a chance to escape to the Bahamas, the Island of Bryan!
HGTV and RBC have teamed up for a travel giveaway.
There are two grand prizes to be won.
The winner will receive a trip for 2 people to the Bahamas. Each Prize will consist of:
- a four-night trip for two to South Andros Island in The Bahamas with
- Return airfare from Canada to Nassau, Bahamas;
- Return airfare from Nassau, the Bahamas to the Destination;
- Round-trip ground transportation between the airport and hotel
- Hotel accommodation at the Caerula Mar Club hotel
- Dining and beverage plan
- A customized video for the Winner from either Bryan or Sarah Baeumler
- A customized welcome basket for Winner
- One Travel Excursion and USD$500 spending money for the Winner.
Each Prize has a value of $12,500

The HGTV.ca/avioning Contest begins on January 29, 2020, and ends at 11:59 p.m. ET on April 19, 2020
Two winners will be selected on April 20, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. ET. by a random draw. One entrant will be selected from all eligible entries received who selected Bryan’s Itinerary, and One entrant will be selected from all eligible entries received who selected Sarah’s Itinerary
The HGTV.ca #AVIONING CONTEST is open to legal residents of Canada who are the age of majority and older.

- then choose either Bryan Baeumler’s or Sarah Baeumler’s vacation itinerary
- complete the entry form
You may enter this contest daily.
PLEASE note, although the HGTV Island Of Bryan contest has been cancelled as of March 17th, a winner will still be selected from entries received up until that day!
Winners will be selected on April 20th, 2020.

I just saw this ad on Television about the contest ? I went to enter and looked it up!! it was done in 2020 !!! The contest was just on TV in an ad in 2023 !!!! In your comments you can see others have noticed the same thing > Please remove your ad !!! It very bad business and publicity !!
Our 50th Anniversary is coming up in April 20, 2024. We would love a trip to Brian & Sarah’s resort. Met Brian in Campbellford, ON. in 2021, real nice guy!
Why have they not announced the winners of this contest? I understand they ended it early, but like many, we entered daily for weeks then nothing? Heard winners were being chosen april 20, 2020 but nothing has been announced anywhere? Anyone know the results?

Looks like You and I will not be travelling to the Bahamas any time soon, (at least not for free 😉
I read their rules again and it states: EACH SELECTED ENTRANT WILL BE NOTIFIED BY E-MAIL NO LATER THAN
APRIL 27, 2020 AT 5:00P.M. ET AND MUST RESPOND WITHIN TWO (2)
BUSINESS DAYS OF NOTIFICATION.
So the winner would have to respond by April 29th and I think they may publish on Social Media.

But it seems unusual not to post the winners on HGTV site… with all the contest publicity and promotions for the resort, and so many people entering, you would expect to see something made public? Just doesnt seem like something hgtv or rbc would fail to do to endorse the validity of the contest…have to say we, and some others we know who entered, were very disappointed not to find anything about someone actually winning these trips.?

I did not notice a statement from HGTV.
So I have contacted them and asked for an update.

My hubby & I need a break!! Every week we have watched the show & keep saying that’s our room. We can dream?
