Prizes – What can you win (Details)
One lucky winner will receive a $20,000 CAD mortgage prepayment from First National.
The payment goes directly toward your mortgage balance, helping you reduce what you owe faster.
If your remaining balance is under $20,000, the rest won’t be paid out in cash, but you’ll still enjoy a huge dent in your debt. The prize isn’t transferable or exchangeable for money, but it’s a serious win for anyone carrying a home loan.
Contest and Draw Dates:
Entries are open from October 1, 2025, at 12:00 a.m. ET to December 15, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. ET. A random draw will be held on January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET at First National’s head office in Toronto. The winner will be contacted by phone or email

The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who are of the age of majority in their province or territory.
Entrants must be qualified First National mortgage customers in good standing and have a registered My Mortgage® account.
How do I enter the First National Financial Giveaway
There are two easy ways to enter:
- Sign up for e-statements: Log into your My Mortgage® account and select paperless annual statements to get one entry.
- Already paperless? You can still enter! Just visit the contest page on My Mortgage® and answer the question: “If you were to recommend First National to a friend, what would you highlight as our strengths?” (maximum 150 words).
Entry Limit – How Often can I enter?
Each mortgage account qualifies for one entry during the contest period, regardless of entry method.
