Prize Details:
Earth Rangers is giving away THREE Prizes from Canon AND your picture displayed at the Royal Ontario Museum!
Each prize consists of a Canon EOS Rebel T7 (Black) camera, or equivalent –$649.

The Earth Rangers Backyard Biologist Photo Contest runs from Thursday, May 19, 2023, and closes at 11:59 pm EDT on Wednesday, July 19, 2023
A panel of Judges will select 15 finalists (five in each category) based on the following criteria: (a) compelling representation of the photo category (50%); (b) photographic quality (25%); and (c) quality of the specimen identification process (25%).
The judging Panel will then rank the finalist photographs based on the same weighted criteria to select the Grand Prize winner in each category.
Winners will be notified via email and MUST respond within days.
Earth Rangers Contest Entry Rules:
The Earth Rangers Backyard Biologist Photo Contest is open to Canadian residents (excluding Quebec).
You must have reached the age of majority in your province or territory of residence to participate.

- Take your best shot of one of the following categories: Best photo of an epic landscape, coolest colours or wildlife
- next, go to www.earthrangers.com/backyardbiocontest or www.earthrangers.com/contest
- Complete the contest entry form, upload your photo and make sure to include a description of your photo subject and an explanation about how you identified it.
- Then click “Submit”
