The Prizes You Could Win
There are two prize categories: one for individual nominators and another for the nominated restaurants. Here’s what’s at stake:
For Individual Entrants:
- Seven Provincial Entrant Prizes: Each winner from BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, and the Atlantic Region will receive a $200 CAD Visa Gift Card.
- Seven Winning Entrant Prizes: If your nominated restaurant wins, you could receive another $200 CAD Visa Gift Card.
- One National Entrant Prize: If your nomination is crowned the best in the nation, you could take home a $1,000 CAD Visa Gift Card.
For Restaurant Entrants:
- Seven Winning Restaurant Prizes: One restaurant from each province and the Atlantic Region will win a $600 CAD Visa Gift Card and a stylish unisex belt buckle valued at approximately $400 CAD (total value: $1,000 CAD).
- One National Winning Restaurant Prize: The top-scoring restaurant in the country will receive a $4,400 CAD Visa Gift Card and a belt buckle worth approximately $600 CAD (total value: $5,000 CAD).
canadabeef.ca Contest dates
The Canada Beef Contest begins on March 10, 2025 at 10:00 AM MT and close on November 30, 2025 at 11:59 PM MT.
Provincial winners will be drawn on December 23, 2025, with national winners announced on January 28, 2026. Judging will be completed by December 19, 2025 for provincial awards, and by January 23, 2026 for the national prize.
Entry Details
The Canadian Beef contest is open to residents of BC, AB, SK, MB, ON, QC, NL, NB, NS, and PEI who are located in those provinces and have reached the age of majority are eligible to enter.
How to enter the Canadian Beef Contest
No purchase is necessary. Here’s how you can participate:
Visit enjoy.cdnbeef.ca/en/nominate/, click “Make a Nomination,” and fill out the form with your details and information about a restaurant that serves a standout Canadian beef dish. You’ll describe what makes the dish exceptional and can optionally upload a photo. Restaurant staff may also self-nominate and include a description, photo, selfie, or video to highlight their dish’s originality.
